At I Need Media (part of Riviera Multimedia Ltd) we offer 5 types of printing onto CD-R

Types Of CD Printing

1. Our Black Thermal Print is for Text and Small Logos Only. We use a Rimage Prism Printer for this process.

2. Our Greyscale Digital Print allows for full cover of the disc in any Greyscale Image (including full black). We use our Rimage Everest Thermal Printers for this process. The end result is a top qualty professional print.

3. Our Full Colour Digital Print allows for full cover of the disc . We use our Rimage Everest Thermal Printers for this process.
The end result is a top qualty professional print.

4. Full Colour Offset Print (as used at our replication factory)
With this process we can produce up to 10,000 Black CD-R Discs

5. Screen Printing
5. We offer Screen printing for your CD's from 1 to 5 colour.

CD-R Screen Printing CD-R Screen Printing
CD-R Screen Print offers your company the oportunity to produce a professional blank CD-R that can be used at your convenience. This is the most cost effective solution for your company if you are continuously changing your software, literature, catalogues or content.


A polyester mesh is stretched over a screen frame at a predetermined tension of between 18 – 20 Newton's. The mesh is stretched at an angle of 7 degrees to the mesh weave. The screen then goes through a cleaning process after which a photo stencil film, (Capillex), is affixed to the screen mesh. The capillex gives a controlled stencil profile over a wide mesh range & gives superb dot reproduction when on press. A stencil or film is then placed onto the screen & placed into an UV light based exposure unit. The capillex reacts to the UV light & an image is produced onto the screen mesh. After the mesh has been emulsioned & re exposed then the screen is ready for press.
