There are many reasons why items ordered may need to be returned to Riviera Multimedia, the most common reasons are covered within the following paragraphs. Any other instances that may not be covered below, will be subject to negotiaitions between Riviera Multimedia and the customer in question.
You have received incorrect Items from Riviera Multimedia. (e.g. not the items that were ordered) - In this instance, Riviera Multimedia will take full responsibilty and will collect the incorrect items from an address specified by the customer, replacements will be shipped the same day. Riviera Multimedia will cover the cost of both the collection and the re-delivery of the replacements.
You have ordered the wrong goods from Riviera Multimedia - In this instance, Riviera Multimedia cannot be held responsible for any mistakes made by the customer when ordering Items through our website. The goods received must be sent back at the customers own expense. Replacements will be issued upon receipt of the returned items. The customer will be liable to cover any cost incurred for the re-shipping of replacement goods. The customer will also be liable for any broken / lost / stolen items when in transit back to Riviera Multimedia.
You ordered the goods but no longer need or require them - In this instance, Riviera Multimedia Ltd will take back the goods but will charge a 15% re-stocking fee The customer will be reqiured to return the goods and supply credit card details for the above re-stocking fee.
Riviera Multimedia reserve the right to certain stipulations regarding products being returned: i) All items must be returned in a re-sellable condition. Any items returned that are found to be damaged in any way, cannot be replaced or refunded under any circumstances ii) Riviera Multimedia Ltd can only accept the return of unused / unopened items. Any items returned that have been used, opened or tampered with in any way cannot be replaced or refunded.

If you suspect breakages within your shipment, you MUST sign for the delivery as Damaged. - If you DO NOT sign for the delivery as damaged, and breakages are discovered upon closer inspection, you MUST report the exact amount of damages to us before the end of business on the day that the delivery takes place. Riviera Multimedia will only replace or refund broken items delivered if the above conditions have been adhered to.
Faulty media must be sent back to us (after a returns number has been allocated via telephone) to the address above to enable us to do a full test on the media.
If this media is found to be faulty (and not incompatible with your equipment) a full refund (or replacement) including shipping charges will be given.
If alleged faulty media is returned to us, and is found to be in good working order, then a charge of £10 plus return shipping charges will be applied.
Customers have 21 days from receiving goods to report any faulty media purchased. Incompatibility problems (in particular dvd-r & +r) should be returned to us in its original packaging and in good condition. Only the un-opened media returned will be replaced. Re-Shipping charges will be incurred. Customers have 21 days from receiving goods to report any incompatibility problems with any media purchased.
BURNING CD BUSINESS CARDS When burning CD business cards be sure to place the card correctly in the drive. Be sure the card is perfectly flat and without imperfections. CD business cards should be burned in CD-R writers (do not use in DVD writers)
MASTER CD CONTENT FOR DUPLICATION & REPLICATION Master CD's must NOT be multisession. (data/audio to be written to the CD-r and the disk closed in one session) we require masters to be wriiten in DISK-AT-ONCE MODE (DAO). Please be sure your CD master has been checked for errors / glitches as no checks are undertaken on your master before the duplication/replication process. All CD Masters (CONTENT) will be stored by Riviera Multimedia unless otherwise instructed. Riviera Multimedia take NO responsibility for data/audio errors on replicated CD's should your master contain errors. (SEE TEST DISKS)
MASTER DVD VIDEO FOR DUPLICATION & REPLICATION DVD Masters must be created on reputable DVD Authoring software. We recommend any of the following: Sonic Scenarist - DVD Maestro - Apple DVD Studio Pro - DVD Lab Pro A DVD-R can be used as a master for DVD5 (under 2 hours) replication jobs. DVD9 (over 2 hours) jobs must be supplied on DLT (NOT DVD-DL) Encryption (CSS) CANNOT be added to DVD-R MASTERS
SUBMITTED ARTWORK FOR DUPLICATION & REPLICATION JOBS All artwork must be submitted on CD-R (unless artwork by email has been approved) . Artwork must be submitted in one of the following formats: ( TIF - PSD(flattened) - PDF ) or JPEG as a last resort. Artwork must be submitted in CMYK format. Artwork must be at a minimum of 300 dpi (PLEASE NOTE: NOT CONVERTED TO 300 DPI FROM A LESSER DPI RESOLUTION). Submitted artwork files are archived on DLT. No submitted artwork CD's are stored by Riviera Multimedia Ltd.
COLOUR MATCHING We do not colour match for cd/dvd inlays and onbody print for in house jobs (up to 500) All jobs can expect a + or - 5% variance in colour for CMYK supplied artwork. Colour matching is only available for REPLICATION runs and requires PANTONE referenced specific colours.
CD-R AUDIO DUPLICATION We do not accept CD Audio masters created on standalone Audio Recorders on Audio Disks. We have found these discs to be incompatible at times with the duplication/replication process. These disks must be remastered and checked. We can do this at a cost of £25 plus VAT per master. Audio masters CREATED on a PC or MAC are acceptable. We require masters to be wriiten in DISK-AT-ONCE MODE (DAO). We do not guarantee that all duplicated CD-R disks will work in all CD players. Car CD players in particular may tend to reject certain CD-R duplicated disks. To combat this we sugest that you take delivery of a test disk before committing to a large CD-R run.
MINI CD (8cm) DUPLICATION PROBLEMS We have found that duplicating cross-platform (hybrid) data masters onto Mini CD's is not condusive with our duplication equipment. We have also had some problems with "mixed" mode CD's (data + audio). We recommend using 5" CD's for these jobs.
CD BUSINESS CARD DUPLICATION (50MB) Please send the master content for CD Business Cards on a separate 5" CD-R. We expect all data for CD Business Cards to be under 50MB total. Do not use CD Business Cards in CD half cut drives (ie. MAC half cut ROM drives). Do not use CD Business Cards in "drag In" CD ROM drives (only drives with trays) CD Business Cards are not guaranteed to work in all laptop machines. CD Business Cards are not recommended for use as CD Audio.
TEST DISKS - REPLICATION (GLASS MASTERED) TEST DISKS If you are having CD Replication (500+ CD's creating) TEST CD's can be sent to you before the full replication run starts. These TEST CD'S are £70 plus VAT (UP TO 10 DISKS ARE PRODUCED FOR THIS PRICE). The test disks are £35 + £35 shipping via FEDEX (recorded delivery) from our replication plant. Please Note: If we subsequently have to re-master because of an data error, glitch or scratch on your master this will be charged at £195.00 plus VAT for a new GLASS MASTER.
DVD-R DUPLICATION We do not guarantee that all DVD-R's will work in all stand-alone DVD players. The reason for this is: 1) Certain DVD stand-alone players are not designed to play this format. 2) Certain DVD stand-alone players may reject the DVD-R dye colour We use RITEK, VERBATIM and XPERT MEDIA DVD-R disks for our DVD duplication runs. We find these disks to be most compatible with stand-alone machines. The current statistics show that 75%-85% of stand-alone DVD players will play this format.
DVD DUPLICATION OPTIONS: 1) Take delivery of a test disk before a large run. 2) Opt for DVD Replication (99.8%) compatibility.
