DVD-R Screen Print offers your company the opportunity to produce a professional blank DVD-R that can be used at your convenience. If you have designs that use Pantone colours or bold colours. We can screen print a maximum of six colours (including white base) to your disc, either as PANTONE colours, CMYK or a combination of both. We can also offer specialist inks, so if you would like your disc to have metallic or fluorescent colours, or a matt varnish this is the process to use. Screen printing is available on all disc formats.

The Screen Printing Process
A polyester mesh is stretched over a screen frame at a predetermined tension of between 18 – 20 Newton's. The mesh is stretched at an angle of 7 degrees to the mesh weave. The screen then goes through a cleaning process after which a photo stencil film, (Capillex), is affixed to the screen mesh. The capillex gives a controlled stencil profile over a wide mesh range & gives superb dot reproduction when on press. A stencil or film is then placed onto the screen & placed into an UV light based exposure unit. The capillex reacts to the UV light & an image is produced onto the screen mesh. After the mesh has been emulsioned & re exposed then the screen is ready for press. DVD Templates are available.
